Greetings from Kyiv! We just concluded our 16th anniversary - which the Embassy of God just celebrated. It was historic occasion and celebration. The highlights of the anniversary were the foundation-laying ceremony of the new church building and a letter from the new president of Ukraine, Victor Yanukovich. Just a year ago, some news media were busy spreading false allegations and accusations against Pastor Sunday and the Embassy of God. However, a year later the same Ukrainian government is now appreciating Pastor Sunday for his contribution to democracy in the country. Here is the letter from the president of Ukraine:
LETTER OF GRATITUDE
To Pastor Sunday Adelaja I would like to thank you sincerely for your active participation in the presidential campaign 2010! Your selfless labor, high sense of duty, and civic stand shown in such difficult circumstances of political opposition have become the main guaranty of our common victory! I appreciate your support and assistance extremely high and hope for further collaboration in establishing Ukraine as a strong and prospering country – Ukraine for people. I wish you health, prosperity, personal happiness, and new achievements for the welfare of the Ukrainian state. President of Ukraine, V.F. Yanukovich
It is interesting to note that the previous government that was persecuting Pastor Sunday and the church is now dismissed, including the former Prime Minister and the former Minister of Internal Affairs. Moreover, an allegation has now been raised against the two of them by the new government. They both have to appear before the general persecutors office regularly to answer questions just as they have done with Pastor Sunday. A MAN REAPS WHAT HE SOWS.
At this years anniversary we were also privileged to be congratulated by the office of the prime minister of the country: DEAR CONGREGATION OF THE EMBASSY OF GOD CHURCH AND Please accept the warmest greetings on the holy Easter of Christ and also on the 16th anniversary of the Embassy of the Blessed Kingdom of God for All Nations Church. I wish you welfare and prosperity, health and happiness. Man of God, I want to thank God for your life and people of Ukraine should be happy to have a man of God in their nation. It is a blessing to the whole nation especially the citizens.
Even Jesus was thrashed by the people of his days and therefore not surprise what the previous Government did against you and your ministry. But where are they? The Bible says they eat their own fruit from the seed they planted. Just keep doing the wonderful job your are doing. The Bible says they will fight you but will not overcome you. You are a strong man and I pray for you for more spiritual strength and wisdom to deal with all these distractions. My advice to all those supporting the wicked plans of the devil unknowingly. I want you to know you will never succeed in your all of your attempt. You will even end up becoming the enemy of God.
Pastor Sunday ignore them and do your wonderful Job.

I followed up on the whole crisis up to a point and I just felt like praying some more both for you and the kingdom at large. Unfortunately, the detractors have more information and are using the media to their advantage. I have to take the pains of searching out your latest stories this morning because of my concern.
Furthermore, your so called friends in Nigeria don't even mention or talk about updates on the issue. When the led are left in the dark, they are misled by the adversaries.
You will do well to strengthen your media link here in Nigeria and the rest of the world especially to places where your testimonies of exploits has been shared.
Above all, I was delighted on seeing the spate of events and what you are accomplishing for the LORD despite the distractions. You are truly a mentor and a man sent from God.
I hope to attend your business seminars in Ukraine one day!

It’s a pity that Christians are confused when politicians are speaking. Believe in the Christian Pastor, the video, the document, and the fact – not the speculation. What Anna Herman says does not reject the fact that the President gave the reward. The fact is that she did not know about it – it is not denied. She does not have to know, because my relation is to people higher than her level. The President never denied it and that is the most important. The reason why some politicians from the party try to deny it is very clear – it is because of pressure from journalists and the society which is orthodox, and politicians who want to be with the majority have to play political games. Don’t you know if it’s not true, if I would use the name of the President to honor myself, I would be put in prison, it’s a very big and serious offense. This is politics, so don’t worry.

Can you please explain why Anna Herman as media says rejected that statement that you were honored by President Yanukovych? Lots of Christians confused by this statement. They don't know whom to believe.
